Honors AssemblyWe will be honoring our current eighth graders next month. Due to space limitations, we will have a seperate honor assembly for each team. In order to allow enough space for parents, students must only attend the honor assembly for their team. It is important to note that this is not a graduation. At the honor assembly, all students must be dressed in accordance with school dress policy. This means no strapless or spaghetti straps without a shawl. students also do not need to overdress for the event. More information will be sent home prior to the assembly. |
Internet SafetyThe Wayne County Sheriff's Department recently came to address our parents and our students. They spoke about the important topic of Internet Safety and suggested several steps parents can use to keep their children on track.

High School RequiementsThe State of MIchigan is currently considering legislation that will change the requirements for students to graduate from high school. Although the law has not been passed yet, it is clear that some changes will be made. These changes will affect middle school as well. We will continue to adjust our instruction to best help our children and prepare them for the future. |
