Starting Monday this week, Woodworth has welcomed two Administrative Interns to our staff. Mr. Mohammad Abdelfattah and Mr. Marwan Salamey. Both individuals were teachers in Dearborn Schools who want to pursue opportunities in administration. After completing a rigorous selection process, both Mr. Abdelfattah and Mr. Salamey were awarded intern positions at Woodworth for the remainder of the school year. During that time they will be shadowing Principal Dirkse and Assistant Principal Turfe to learn the ins and outs of being a school administrator. Both individuals will also be splitting their time at Salina Elementary and Lowery Middle School, to round out their experiences. These positions are a part of a new district focus to help prepare and grow future administrations.
