Many thanks to everyone who made donations to our drive in the fall. We collected lots of clothes, jackets, personal hygiene items and more. The items were donated to the Detroit Rescue Mission. When we started the drive, they were providing shelter for about 700 people. As you can see in the attached letter, they now provide shelter for between 1000 and 1200 men, women and children.
The amount of caring is truly incredible. This is a terrific lesson for our kids to learn and see.
