Children will participate daily in five activity-oriented, hands-on modules focused on science literacy, math, history and the arts. There is also a heavy emphasis on the STEM subjects (Science, technology, engineering and math).
Kristie Lica, a teacher at Snow Elementary School, will direct the camp and local teachers will teach the five modules. High school and college students will be hired to serve as camp counselors. The camp features a low staff-to-participant ratio of 1:8.
Registration for this camp is limited to 110 children, so register early. You may also visit Camp Invention’s Web site at www.campinvention.org to find out more about this exciting and fun program.
