Woodworth Middle School

Snow Pile Program

Hello everyone,

I would like to inform you about a program that is being implemented here at Woodworth. The students from STAND and I are very excited about the Snow Pile program that is run through Children’s Hospital.  The program is designed to provide NEW gifts/toys that have been placed on a wish list.  These items are specific, and reflect the children’s wishes for the holidays. We are asking that our students donate a new toy from the wish list.

Students should bring the gifts to their A2 classes. Our stand students are assigned to grade levels and will be picking them up daily and dropping them to the office.  This will keep the toys is a safe spot. I will be placing boxes in the office for students who wish to donate at any other time of the day. Donations begin asap and will continue until the last week before Christmas break.

 A few stipulations:

1)      Students bring NEW toys from the list of toys attached

2)      Nothing with a violent theme

3)      NO gift wrapping

4)      Gift cards accepted (refer to list of locations)

5)      Crayons must be Crayola or Rose are due to of safety issues

The wish list is attached below:
