On Thursday, February 14, the Woodworth PE department sponsored a Jump Rope & Hoop for Heart fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Students collected donations and either shot baskets or jumped rope during their PE classes. We collected at total of $1,176.74 for the American Heart Association ($268.89 for Jump rope for Heart and $907.85 for Hoop for Heart). Our top donors were Abraham Chaalan (7th grade) collecting $120.00 for Hoops and Hala Nimeh (6th grade) collecting $53.00 for Jump. The PE Department would like to thank everyone who participated and made a donation to this annual event.
