The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students across the country. Last year we had several district winners from Bryant Middle School, and Dearborn Public Schools has had many winners at the state and national levels over the years. This year PTA Reflections is celebrating its 50th anniversary. It would be really wonderful to celebrate 50 years of art by having 50 students participate from our school!
Participation in the Reflections program is voluntary. There are six categories for kids to choose from including dance choreography, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. It is a great way for students to explore various art forms while reflecting on a theme. This year’s theme is “Heroes Around Me.”
Please encourage your child to watch the following short video and to browse the Dearborn Reflections website. Students can download the rules and entry forms from our district website, or they can ask any teacher for a hard copy.
