Parent Connect Training on 12/14 at 9:45 am at Woodworth!

Hello Parents,

Extensive research has shown that academic achievement increases when parents are involved in their children’s education.  The more intensively parents are involved, the greater the positive impact on academic success.  Parental involvement not only enhances academic performance, but it also has a positive influence on student attitude and behavior in school. 

 The success of your child’s education is very important to us at Woodworth Middle School, and we would like to help provide you with the valuable and necessary tools to monitor and support the progress of your child’s education.  All parents and students in the district have access to a tool called “Student Connect / Parent Connect“.  “Student Connect/Parent Connect” is an accurate tool for our students and families to monitor grades and support what your child is doing in the classroom.  The Parent Connect portion is a program that provides an easy way for parents to view their child’s school information/records such as current grades, transcripts, attendance and much more.

 We understand that not all parents may be aware of “Parent Connect“, or may not know exactly how to use it.  So, here is where we would like to help you learn how to utilize and navigate through “Parent Connect” so that you can keep up with your child’s education.  If you need to have “Parent Connect” set up for you and/or would like lessons on how to use “Parent Connect“, we are offering training to parents at Woodworth on Wednesday, December 14th at 9:45 am.  We are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday!
