Greeting Woodworth Community,
We pride ourselves on being a part of the neighborhood and being a good neighbor means sharing information that will keep our community safe for all.
Unfortunately we have been finding used needles and syringes on our track after school hours. We have shared this information with Dearborn Police and they will be monitoring the area. To assist in trying to stop any inappropriate behavior from occurring on our property we will be locking the Woodworth gate for a 30 day trial period as a deterrent for unwanted activity on our property. The gate will be locked starting today, September 15, 2023.
I hope this action does not create an inconvenience for those who live near the school but we must all work together to create a community that is safe for everyone.
