Greetings, Woodworth Families,
We are delighted to invite you to our Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony on Thursday, June 5th, as we celebrate a significant milestone in your child’s academic journey.
Event Details
Date: Thursday, June 5, 2025
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Please arrive on time, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.)
Student Arrival: 8:15 a.m. – Students should report directly to their 1st hour teacher
Location: Woodworth Middle School – Cafeteria & Main Gym
Event Entrance: Door #9 on Hubbard Drive
This special occasion offers us a moment to reflect on our students’ growth and achievements as they transition into the next exciting chapter of their academic careers. Due to limited seating, each student will receive two guest tickets. All guests—including children—must present a ticket to enter. Tickets will be distributed to students on Wednesday, June 4th and will not be available on the day of the ceremony. Please note that lost tickets cannot be replaced.
To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience for all families, we kindly ask that the following guidelines be observed:
- This is a formal promotion ceremony, and appropriate dress is required and school dress code will be enforced.
- Limousines, strollers, and balloons are not permitted, as they may obstruct views and create logistical issues.
Student Dress Guidelines:
- Young men should wear dress shirts with dress pants or khakis. Ties and jackets are optional. Jeans and shorts are not allowed.
- Young ladies are encouraged to wear modest, comfortable dresses suitable for semi-formal occasions. Strapless or off-the-shoulder styles are not permitted. Please avoid spending excessively on formal attire.
- If wearing heels, students should be able to walk comfortably in them.
- If you are unsure about your outfit, please speak with Ms. Rabac or Ms. Dakroub before the event.
Timeliness is essential. Students must be on time and present by 8:15 a.m. in order to participate in the ceremony.

هذه المناسبة الخاصة تمنحنا فرصة للتأمل في نمو طلابنا وإنجازاتهم وهم يستعدون للانتقال إلى مرحلة جديدة ومثيرة في رحلتهم التعليمية. وبسبب محدودية المقاعد، سيُمنح كل طالب تذكرتين فقط للضيوف. يجب على جميع الضيوف – بمن فيهم الأطفال – إبراز تذكرة للدخول. سيتم توزيع التذاكر على الطلاب يوم الأربعاء، 4 يونيو، ولن تتوفر التذاكر يوم الحفل. يرجى ملاحظة أن التذاكر المفقودة لا يمكن استبدالها.
ولضمان تجربة محترمة وممتعة لجميع العائلات، نرجو منكم الالتزام بالإرشادات التالية:
- هذا الحفل رسمي، ويتطلب ارتداء ملابس مناسبة، وسيتم تطبيق قواعد اللباس المدرسي.
- لا يُسمح بالليموزينات أو عربات الأطفال أو البالونات، لأنها قد تعيق الرؤية وتسبب مشاكل تنظيمية.
إرشادات لباس الطلاب:
- يجب على الطلاب الذكور ارتداء قمصان رسمية مع سراويل رسمية أو كاكي. ربطة العنق والجاكيت اختياريان. لا يُسمح بارتداء الجينز أو السراويل القصيرة.
- يُفضل أن ترتدي الطالبات فساتين محتشمة ومريحة ومناسبة للمناسبات شبه الرسمية. لا يُسمح بالفساتين بدون أكتاف أو بدون حمالات. يرجى عدم الإنفاق المفرط على الملابس الرسمية.
- إذا تم ارتداء الكعب العالي، فيجب أن تتمكن الطالبة من المشي به بسهولة.
إذا كان لديكم أي شك بشأن اللباس المناسب، يُرجى التحدث مع الآنسة رباك أو الآنسة دكرُوب قبل الحفل.
الالتزام بالوقت أمر ضروري. يجب أن يكون الطلاب في المدرسة في الوقت المحدد (الساعة 8:15 صباحًا) للمشاركة في الحفل.
