Greetings, Woodworth Families!
As we prepare to embark on another exciting school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all our students and their families. We hope your summer was filled with joy, relaxation, and memorable moments.
During the summer, our team has worked tirelessly to prepare for the new school year. Our commitment to continued student academic and personal growth remains a priority. We are also excited to continue our efforts to strengthen the partnership between home and school. Your involvement is invaluable to us, and we encourage you to participate in school events, volunteer opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences.
Here are a few important reminders as we kick off the new year:
- School Hours: Classes begin promptly at 8:25 am and conclude at 3:20 pm, with a half day ending at 11:30 am, and early release ending at 1:50 pm. All students are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch. Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. each day in the cafeteria. Students enter through the cafe door. Our office is open daily from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm.

- Preparing Your Child for the New School Year: There are many feelings and emotions that your child may experience. It is critical to:
- Establish a bedtime routine that is consistent to ensure that your child is well rested and ready to learn.
- Talk to your child(ren) about how they are feeling. Let them know that these feelings are natural and that there are others that are experiencing similar feelings.
- Arrival Procedures: Students will enter the building using the door listed below.

- Dismissal Procedures: Students will exit the building with their teacher, using the door closest to their last hour classroom. Talk to your child(ren) to determine the best pick up location for your family.

Please know that all of us here at Woodworth Middle School are working to create the very best learning experience for your child while maintaining the safety of all students and staff. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who enters our school feels welcome and excited to be here. This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence from a positive, nurturing and fun environment.

بينما تستعد لبدء عام دراسي جديد,أود أن أرحب ترحيباً حاراًبجميع طلابنا وعائلاتهم .نأمل أن يكون صيفكم مليئاً بالبهجة والاسترخاء واللحظات التي لا تنسى.خلال الصيف،عمل فريقنا بلا كلل للتحضير للعام الدراسي الجديد . يظل التزامنا بالنمو الأكاديمي والشخصي المستمر للطلاب أولوية لدينا.نحن متحمسون أيضاً لمواصلة جهودنا لتعزيز الشراكة بين المنزل والمدرسة. مشاركتكم لا تقدر بثمن بالنسبة إلينا ، ونحن نشجعكم على المشاركة في فعاليات المدرسة وفرص التطوّع واجتماعات أولياء الأمور والمعلمين.
مع انطلاق العام الجديد إليكم بعض التذكيرات المهمة:
ساعات الدراسة:٨:٢٥ صباحاً حتى ٣:٢٠ بعد الظهر.
نصف يوم دراسي:٨:٢٥ صباحاً حتى ١١:٣٠ صباحاً
الانصراف المبكر كل ثلاثاء:٨:٢٥ حتى ١:٥٠
يحق لجميع الطلاب الحصول على وجبة إفطار وغداء مجانية.
تبدأ وجبة الإفطار في تمام الساعة الثامنة صباحاً في الكافتيريا. االدخول من باب الكافتيريا.
تواريخ مهمة: ستجد أدناه قائمة بالتواريخ المهمة والنشاطات خلال العام الدراسي القادم.

إعداد طفلك للعام الدراسي الجديد: هناك العديد من المشاعر والعواطف التي قد يمر بها طفلك.من المهم:
أ:إنشاء روتين يومي لوقت النوم
ب:التحدث إلى طفلك حول ما يشعر به.أخبره أن هذه المشاعر طبيعية .

إجراءات الانصراف: سيخرج الطلاب من المبنى مع معلميهم بإستخدام الباب الأقرب إلى الصف الذي سيخصص لهم في الحصة الأخيرة.تحدث إلى طفلك لتحديد أفضل نقطة للاستلام.
