This evening we had great parent turnout at Open House!  If you were not able to make it out, we encourage you to reach out to teachers via the blog.   What a great start to the 2016-17 school year!

Everyone is welcome to attend the Woodworth M.S. Open House from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.  Please come and meet your student’s teachers, and see their classrooms.  The new cafeteria will also be open for parents to view.  The PTA is hosting basket raffles as a fundraiser. Hope to see you there!

Woodworth Music Connections students enjoyed the last of their in class performances on Tuesday.  Mister a Hip Hop artist performed for students and shared his music with them.  This marked the last of six in-class performances by local and world renown artists.

Last week 8th grade students in Mr. Batchelor’s technology class participated in the Annual Woodworth Boat Race last week.  Student constructed boats out of cardboard and packaging tape.  Ms. McIngvale, 8th grade teacher, even took a successful voyage in one of the boats.  A great display of Woodworth student ingenuity!
