The next PTA meeting will be held on November 10th at 9:00 AM in the Woodworth Media Center.  We will be discussing the Response to Bullying Program.

Woodworth will be collecting for the Detroit Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter during the month of November.  Please bring in any of the items listed below that you would like to donate.  Woodworth has always been a district leader in helping others – thank you in advance for your support! The Woodworth PTA will be having a bake sale in the main vestibule after school on Friday, October 28th.  Please support the PTA bake sale this Friday!

Students who are interested in joining the band/strings group should report to room 118 on Thursday, November 3rd at 3:00PM for an informational meeting.

Students who are interested in joining the choir should report to room 118 on Tuesdays from 3:00 – 4:30 beginning October 25th.

 Tuesday, October 25th and Thursday, October 27th will be our Parent- Teacher conference nights from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  Report cards will be handed out at this time.   Dearborn Public Schools has a “Home Language” survey to be filled at this time.

Woodworth is forming a Response to Bullying Committee.  At this time, we are asking for parent volunteers.  If you are interested in joining this committee, please notify or e-mail Mr. Attee (atteer@dearborn.k12.mi.us).

 Monday, October 10th will be our first PTSA meeting of the year.  The meeting will start at 9:00 AM.

This Wednesday (October 5th) is a regularly scheduled school day.  It will be an “A” Day.  School will start at 8:00 AM.

REMINDER:  Wednesday, September 28th is a late start day.  Students will report to school one hour later (8:50 AM).
