Due to the predicted weather, all middle school track meets are cancelled for today. The girls’ track team will meet in room 117. Boys’ track team will be dismissed to home.

Just a quick reminder that we have our last PTA meeting of the year on Thursday, May 13th at 9:00 am.

Spirit week is coming to Woodworth. Spirit Week will be next week (May 17th – 21st). Monday – Mix & Match day Tuesday – Sports Day Wednesday – Favorite TV Character Thursday – Crazy Hair Day Friday – Twin Day.

The PTSA Movie night is coming this Friday. The movie that will be shown is “The Tooth Fairy”. This movie is rated PG and 89 minutes long. Thus, the movie should be done by 4:40.

Last night, seniors graduating from Dearborn Public Schools this June who have held at least a 3.6 GPA through all four years of high school were honored at the Superintendent’s Honors Night. Woodworth is working with our PTSA to plan a Cedar Point trip for our 8th graders. The plan is to depart on June 10 at 8 a.m. and return to Woodworth at 8 p.m.. Student cost will be $60.oo.  This will include park entry and a nice bus ride.  Permission slips will be sent out…

We had one student’s art work chosen out of 200+ works of art to represent Dearborn’s schools as a young artist (12 total pieces were chosen) in the Dearborn Artist’s Show, which follows this one.  She is 7th grader-Siham.  Her piece was a multicolored weaving.  It will be framed professionally and returned in September.  She…

Fordson Orientation –   9th grade orientation for incoming students to Fordson High School, will be held this Wednesday, April 28th at 6:00 p.m.  The orientation will be held in the high school auditorium and all parents and students are encouraged to attend!
