Friday, October 14 will be a PINK-OUT at Woodworth Middle School.  Wear your pink proudly in support for all whose lives have been touched by this disease.

New this year Woodworth Student planners record Pride Points for positive behavior.  Parents can expect a phone call home when students reach 10 points.  Students also use Pride Points to earn and participate in reward activities.  Be sure check your student’s planner to see their Pride Points!

This evening we had great parent turnout at Open House!  If you were not able to make it out, we encourage you to reach out to teachers via the blog.   What a great start to the 2016-17 school year!

Everyone is welcome to attend the Woodworth M.S. Open House from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.  Please come and meet your student’s teachers, and see their classrooms.  The new cafeteria will also be open for parents to view.  The PTA is hosting basket raffles as a fundraiser. Hope to see you there!

Woodworth Music Connections students enjoyed the last of their in class performances on Tuesday.  Mister a Hip Hop artist performed for students and shared his music with them.  This marked the last of six in-class performances by local and world renown artists.
